Use this diagram if you want to use conventional headlights that turn on only when the headlight switch is on. Note: Daytime Running Lights are designed to improve daytime driving safety by making your vehicle more visible. This configuration is NOT RECOMMENDED AND MAY BE A VIOLATION OF LAW IN SOME STATES.

1. Cooling Fan: You have an electric radiator fan and just want the fan to run when the ignition is on. (You don't use a thermostat or temperature switch for activating the fan.)
